CFPB – Validation Notices and How they will Change Collection Letters

In its debt collection rule, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau included a model validation notice that can be used in communicating with consumers. However, there are questions about the type of data that needs to be included as well as how other disclosures will be handled on the form.
