TCN, based in St. George, Utah, is doing so well they had 50 percent growth last year alone. Their software program for call center technology has put them on the national and international map. Companies from around the world are now seeking them out to utilize this technology.
TCN is a cloud-based virtual call center. They manage inbound and outbound call traffic flow for call centers. Their clients have access to the most sophisticated calling technologies available. What they use is called VoIP, or Voice over Internet Protocol, which basically means sending voice telephone calls over the Internet. It’s a web-based dialer providing companies with a service for pre-recorded messaging, alerts or political surveys with a personalized message. One of the guiding principles for this St. George company is to think globally but act locally.
Years ago when Terrel Bird was researching what business to get into, he was working for a company in Canada but his family was in Utah. Nothing motivated him more than to find a way to get back to his family. As he flew back and forth on the weekends, he started figuring out what his new business should be.
VoIP was the trend he discovered with a need he felt he could fill. Terrel began to put the pieces together and make partnerships that helped fill the business need he discovered. A year and a half later TCN was created and began marketing its services.
Companies around the world are now using the company’s award-winning Platform 3.0 (P3), a multi-tenant, intuitive, Interactive Voice Communication platform that has been revolutionary for contact centers that need dialing and other solutions. One of the great aspects of TCN is that it supports the environment because it’s 100 percent green. You don’t need any hardware because all services are performed over the Internet.
As a business owner and a family man, being with his family at home and at work means a lot to Terrel, so much that three of his sons now work with him at TCN.
