5 Things You Need to Know Before Moving Your Business to the Cloud

TCN is a virtual cloud dialer, giving clients an opportunity to leverage some of the most sophisticated Outbound and Inbound calling technologies available. With TCN being at the forefront of cloud technology it is important that you know these five things before making that transition.

  1. Switching is EasyThe transition is inevitable. With technology advancing at such a rapid rate, the question is not whether or not you will switch to the cloud, but when. The beautiful thing that the cloud offers to a company is flexibility. The rigid schedules of the past make it hard for companies to keep their best employees that are looking to have flexible hours and still get the job done.
  2. Consumers demand convenience. Everyone today wants the answers lightning fast. Gone are the days when you had to actually read a book or do some hard research to find what you were looking for. The cloud makes it simple for the consumer to find answers on your products or business at the touch of a button. Storage and mobile usage have changed the way people think and do research.
  3. Infrastructure will change. It is important to understand that your workforce will be making large changes from storing everything in file cabinets to a cloud-based software. Multiple trainings will need to take place on ways of storing and retrieving data along with possible upgrades to computer hardware, such as dual screens or touch screen products. Be ready with solutions to new problems that may arise and stay ahead of the learning curve.
  4. New priorities. With new technology also comes new protocol. It will be extremely important that you safeguard sensitive data. Also, when sharing data make sure that you are taking the proper steps in sharing only what needs to be shared and not your entire portfolio or confidential client information.
  5. Getting the proper bandwidth. It’s all about the right contingency plan. Now that you are working off the cloud, make sure that you have enough bandwidth to work at maximum capacity. Imagine if the Internet went down, how would you function? I know, terrifying! Always have a solution ready in case this happens.
